 The Paintwork is the first thing everyone sees and as the saying goes 'first impressions are lasting impressions'.
Whatever your requirements we will be able to take care of it. In a nutshell if it's been painted we can re-paint it and in many cases to a higher standard than original. We've been painting bikes of all makes and models for over twenty years and have a wealth of experience with the peculiarities of finishes and colours including candy colours and metal-flakes.
We only use quality materials, proven over time to withstand the specific conditions effecting motorcycle bodywork. The paint surfaces on a motorcycle are prone to a far harsher environment than cars. For starters the rider tends to be in contact with the paintwork, tank and sidecovers, constantly while seated on a bike. In addition to this there is the flexing of plastic fairings and impact with flying debris such as stones thrown up by other bikes close ahead.
We can do Custom and Race Replicas jobs. These can be as simple as just a colour change with different decals to personalise your bike or a detailed replica of a championship winning GP or Superbike. We can also supply all the sponsorship decals making the job totally authentic.
Clearcoating of undamaged fairings is something we undetake regularly. On newer bikes this not only looks great, as the 2-pack clear we use is far glossier than almost all original finishes, but protects any decals and the original colour underneath. For older bikes a coat of clear is a cost effective option to rejuvenate the original finish by bringing back the shine and removing minor scratching and scuffing from general use at a fraction of the cost of a full repaint.
Polishing and detailing is a budget alternative to make your bike quite a bit more presentable. This is commonly done on bikes that are soon to be sold. We have a range of polishes only available to the trade specifically for rejuvenating weathered paintwork leaving a high lustre. Polishing can in some cases also remove minor scuffing such as boot marks or from knees rubbing the sides of the tank. We can also brush-touch chips and small scratches
Paint matched to sample is available. We can supply paint, matched to sample, primer, clear-coat, hardener and thinners if you are wanting to do your own painting. As we use 2-pack material exclusively this is the only type of paint we will supply. This type of paint is reccomended only for use by persons with suitable experience.
