Crash Repairs are the focus of my business. Having been involved in the crash repair industry most of my life and being a passionate motorcyclist it made sense to apply my knowledge to repairing bikes. When disaster strikes we will do everything we can possibly do to ease the pain. Crash damage ranges in severity from minor scratching following a low speed drop to major damage caused by coming off at speed and everything in between. It is remakable how much damage can result in what appears to be a minor spill. Not every damaged bike is a write-off and many written-off bikes could have been repaired without compromising the value of the bike. There are too many instances where a bike is written of following an accident simply because the person quoting is from a purely mechanical or parts background and has limited expertise in actual crash repairs. In a lot of instances the first contact the owner has with the repairer after an accident is a call informing them their bike has been written off. This situation tends to be extremely disheartening for the owner as they generally get paid a fraction of the real value of their bike, forfeit the balance of their insurance premium and have a large black mark against their insurance record. It is my experience that with a little bit of consultation and compromise many write-offs could be repaired rather than going to auction.
